Friends of Platt Library was established in 1974 to bring awareness about the important role a library would play in our community. The Platt Library opened 21 years later in 1995. Today, the Friends of the Platt Library works to improve the quality of the programs and services offered at the library which include special guests, youth programs, and raising money the library needs to continue its important mission of bringing the magic of books to people of all ages.
